Telephoto Lens || Kristen Fuller

A telephoto lens is a lens which has a greater focal length than the physical length of the lens. The angle of view is narrow and the image produced is normally one that makes a subject look closer than in reality. A telephoto lens incorporates a special lens which categorizes it into the telephoto group.

Misconception: All zoom lenses are telephoto lenses

Truth: A telephoto lens can be a zoom lens, but not all zoom lenses are telephoto lenses.
