I chose this photo for a few reasons. One, because it brings to mind memories of the beach and the sun on a hot summer day; two, because of the perfectly posed lines created by the shadows, turning-lane curb, median, and the waves (although they are not very linear, they create an easy-to-look-at photo); and three, because of the way the photo was taken - the photographer must have been at the top of ahill, looking down on the ocean, making it look as if the ocean is a wall that the cars are driving to/from. I'm guessing that it was taken with a normal lens, and fast shutter speed combined with open aperture, freezing the cars and keeping the waves in focus on the bright sunny day.
