Nikos Economopoulos is a Greek photographer. His photographs carry a certain sense of geometric composition, often times outlining certain symmetrical patterns. He claims to photograph and document much of what he calls the "Balkan Man," in an effort to capture various identities and their differences. His photographs on Magnum Photography are incredibly interesting, and seem to focus on people living in impoverished conditions.
The picture above shows a variety of children hanging at different levels from a fence. They seem to be playing with each other, probably imagining a game of some sort. This image brought me back to a time when I would go to Mexico as a child and play games with my friends. I love the way their bodies have been captured in the shadows as well, and how much movement and "flow" you can still see in this picture.
