Jacob Aue Sobol b. 1972 - - - Molly
I really enjoy Jacob Aue Sobol's photographs. He is a Danish photographer who has spent time in Canada, Greenland, Guatemala and Tokyo. I was drawn to his work because of how he mainly photographs people, specifically in intimate or powerful moments. His pictures seemed snapped durring informal occasions, capturing intense experiences of his subjects. The solemness and use of nudity in almost all the pictures make them extremely powerful. This is one of the few pictures that uses some sort of line. The road and the wall both lead to the same point and intersect with the tree and the person's legs.
